The whole world is searching for a greater meaning to life. We live in a world full of violence, drugs, alcohol, disillusionment, sexual encounters, adultery, lying, cheating and stealing. My book is an explanation of what the real "Paradise" is and how to get there. More info can be found at http://www.2heaven.info
“Hawaii isn't Paradise, Heaven is Paradise!” Actually, Hawaii is paradise. Ask anyone who has been there. The only difference is Hawaii is temporary and Heaven is eternal. Hawaii is expensive and Heaven costs nothing but is priceless. To get to Heaven requires faith and works. The choice is ours.
Aloha, welcome to Hawaii. If you're ready for the adventure of a lifetime, get set for Hawaii. My name is Carolyn and my husband is Allan. We were married for seven years and we both always wanted to visit Hawaii. We both worked very hard to save enough money to get there. We spent seven days there and had many wonderful experiences in "paradise." Hawaii is a different vacation on each island. It has a romantic South sea mystique, a perfect climate, the aloha spirit of its people, and, of course, the Hula.
Allan and I really enjoyed Hawaii. We talked about it day and night. We told everyone who would listen to us how beautiful it was. We had our pictures developed and looked at them for weeks and weeks. The only thing wrong was that we had to return to work and the stress of everyday life. But, as beautiful as Hawaii is, we realize it was only temporary and paled in comparison to the eternal Paradise.
In Heaven, there is a place for you! Come, your Father loves you! You never have to leave! It's forever! Not for a moment, a month, or a year, it's forever! Heaven is the place where our loving relationships are extended beyond the immediate circle of our family members and our friends, whom we will meet again to include all the human beings who have ever lived. It is in Heaven, and only in Heaven, that all the conditions of love can be fulfilled. It is only there that love will produce pure and perfect happiness. There is no disappointment, cruel misunderstandings, or insufficiency of human love. The love of Heaven is mutual.
The vision of God not only reveals to the human soul His divine beauty, goodness, wisdom, and numberless other perfections which captivate it and sets it on fire with a seraphic love, but it also reveals the intense and mysterious love of God for us. The sight of the Divine love produces in us, the happiness which the heart of man cannot conceive. The Bible uses the word Heaven to refer to the dwelling place of God, the dwelling place of angels, and the dwelling place of Christ. The dwelling place of Blessed Heaven is represented as the “new Paradise”, the "New Jerusalem”, the "true homeland," and the "Kingdom of God."
The picture of Heaven is described by a man named John. It is not known if he is John the Apostle or just one of his disciples. An angel appeared to him and revealed to him a description of Heaven. (Revelations 21: 1-17, 22: 1-5)
Heaven is the place for you. God loves you and has a beautiful plan for your life. God's plan for your life is far better than any plan you could have for yourself. Jesus said that He came to give us a better life. God's perfect plan for your life is that you come to share in His love and His joy in this life, so we can live with Him in Heaven for eternity. In Heaven, God had prepared a beautiful life for you. "Eye has not seen, ear has not heard nor has it dawned on man what God has prepared for those who love Him." (1 Cor. 2:9)
In order for us to go to Hawaii, we have to do the following things: 1) have a job so we can save money, 2) accumulate enough vacation time, 3) make travel arrangements, and 4) secure reservations in a nice hotel. That's it. That's all we have to do. Isn't that easy? Of course it is! But how do we get to Heaven? The answer is given in Genesis 2:3. Death is a punishment for disobeying God.
The story of Creation illustrates mans use of free will; the free will to disobey God's own will. In disobeying God, Adam and Eve brought down upon mankind God's punishment. God's divine chastisement at this time brought death to mankind. After this disobedience, humans would only be with God after they died and not live in the earthly paradise with Him as He had planned in the beginning, when He created mankind. God gives us free will to work out the earthly life in keeping with the divine plan and to decide on our own destiny. At the time of death, that decision becomes final; there's no changing and no going back.
Jesus' mission was His involvement in God's plan for the world. Jesus' ministry was His compassionate loving service that assisted in the fulfillment of God's plan, the coming of God's Kingdom. Through Baptism, all Christians are called to ministry to continue the ministry of Jesus through lives of witness and service, which promote the coming of the reign of God in their own time. There are different reasons for entering into ministry. The most common is the awareness of the call from God to serve Him. This is the "Stairway to Heaven."
"Then I heard a voice of the Lord saying. ' Whom shall I send?' Who will go for me?' Here I am, I said, send me!" (Isaiah 6:8-9) the question is: why ministry? What is wrong with working, raising a family, paying bills, going to Church once a week, and trying to live peacefully with our neighbors? Well, there is nothing wrong with this except: God calls us to more. He calls us to help Him continue the work of Jesus on this earth. Just as Jesus' mission was His involvement in God's plan for the world, so is ours.
